See how each token exists across chains.
The new Tokens page shows how each token exists across chains: which deployments are backed by another (lock & mint) and which are in a burn & mint relation, with 24h cross-chain volume. Each token page now includes the same relations graph, with a full-screen view. Tokens can also be found in the search bar.

Watch blobs land on Ethereum block by block.
The new Blobs page shows Ethereum’s blob market live: every block as it lands, with each batch labelled by the rollup that posted it, the last 24 hours at a glance, and a table of who posts how much and how often.

Privacy protocols are now compared by what they promise, with a rosette summarizing their protection.
The Privacy page now shows each protocol’s protection against adversaries as a rosette, and splits the summary into one table per promise (link, recipient, amount), so only protocols making the same promise are compared. Project pages also show milestones and incidents.

A new metric for how battle-tested the code securing each project is.
The new Ossification page measures how battle-tested the code securing each project is, based on an open dataset of EVM exploits. Every critical change resets the clock, and battle-tested exposure shows how much value the code secured while unchanged. Project pages show the details in their Updates section. Read the research article for the methodology.

Tables keep their headers in view and remember which columns you hid.
Table headers now stay in view while you scroll long tables. Columns you hide are remembered across visits, and the column picker shows how many are hidden. Tables with change columns can also be sorted by the change.

Chart any set of Layer 2s against each other, with Ethereum as an optional baseline.
The new Compare page charts any number of Layer 2s side by side on up to four charts: Value Secured, Activity, Costs and Data posted. Ethereum can be added as a baseline. The whole view is kept in the URL, so you can share a comparison with a link.

Scaling, data availability, privacy, interop and ZK catalog project pages can be read as markdown.
Project pages are now available as plain markdown, so AI agents and LLM tools can read L2BEAT data without parsing HTML. Add .md to a project page URL, e.g. /layer2s/projects/arbitrum.md.
Markdown is available for scaling projects, data availability layers, privacy protocols, interop protocols and tokens, and ZK catalog projects. llms.txt describes the URL pattern for each project type.

Privacy pages now show anonymity sets and the chains each protocol is deployed on.
The Privacy pages now show anonymity sets: how many distinct users you blend in with, with historical and holding-duration charts on each project page. Project pages also list the chains each protocol is deployed on, and relayer stats are shown where available.

See how well each privacy protocol protects you against different adversaries.
The Privacy page now shows how well each privacy protocol protects you against different adversaries.

A single overview of Layer 2s, Interop, Privacy, ZK provers and recent changes.
L2BEAT has a new home page. It brings the key numbers and charts for Layer 2s and Ethereum together with top Interop protocols, Privacy protocols and ZK provers, recently added projects, recent changes to projects and ongoing anomalies.

Follow the research and roadmap for rollups that Ethereum verifies directly.
The new Native Rollups page explains rollups whose blocks are proven by Ethereum itself. It covers how they work, the roadmap from the original EXECUTE proposal to EIP-8288 and EIP-8357, open problems, and links to the technical book, the devnet and implementation work.

An overview of intent-based bridge protocols.
The new Intent bridges page gives an overview of intent-based bridge protocols. It combines transfer activity with intent-specific properties such as user recovery paths, solver access, settlement model, active tokens and chain routes, and lets you compare transfer speed between two chains.

Compare how Layer 2s produce blocks and resist censorship.
The new Sequencing page under Risk Analysis compares how projects produce blocks: set size, who can join, minimum stake, block time, proposer rotation and censorship resistance, with an inclusion delay chart. Ethereum has since been added as a baseline, along with a separate table for centralized sequencers.
